Base Fees

Domestic

1st Pet Domestic*: $350.00
2nd Pet and each additional is: $200.00
*Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are domestic.

U.S. To International

1st Pet International: $825.00
2nd Pet and each additional: $600.00

International Country to U.S.

1st Pet International: $500.00
2nd Pet and each additional: $300.00

To or from Mexico, Guam, or Canada

1st Pet: $575.00
2nd Pet and each additional is: $375.00

Please Note: Our Base fee does not include flight costs.

We offer excellent discounts for those who actively serve our country here in the U.S. and abroad. Ask about how to get your military discount today! Proof of Military ID Required

Domestic

1st Pet Domestic*: $300.00
2nd Pet and each additional is: $200.00

That is a $50.00 discount for the first pet! Each additional pet is already discounted.

International

2nd Pet and each additional: $600.00

That is a $100.00 discount for the first pet! Each additional pet is already discounted.

Please Note: Our Base fee does not include airfare.

Flight Fee:

The cost of the pet’s airline ticket is in addition to our base price. The actual flight cost for your pet is dependent on the following:

  • Size of pet
  • Location of Pet
  • Airline used
  • Size of crate

Below is a price range one can expect for domestic and international flights.

Airfare Range:

1st Pet Domestic: $300.00 - $820.00
1st Pet International: $400.00 - $2,000

Please Note: Larger crates and heavier pets cost more to ship than smaller ones.

Ticket Purchase Fee:

This price varies based on the flight cost. Happy Tails Travel, Inc. will gladly handle payment to provide an efficient, stress-free, smooth check-in process at the airport.

Rush Fees:

We recommend you give us 10 days notice for Domestic flights and 4 weeks notice for International flights. If you would like to get your furry friend home as quick as possible, please let us know and we can make these accommodations for a small fee:

Domestic Rush Fees: between $75-$150
International Rush Fees: between $150-$225

Additional Services:

Transportation to/from the Airport

We offer great rates when we pick up your pets! We work with a network of agents across the world to provide safe and seamless transportation to and from the airport. We are able to arrange for transportation on one or both sides for a complete door to door service.

An average cost for transportation is $250-350 per city. This is based on the pick up or drop off location being within an hour of the airport and includes our $75 handling fee. The cost can vary depending on where the pick up or drop location is.

Handling Fee: $75 Per City

This is a one-time fee per city where Happy Tails Travel, Inc. will arrange boarding, crate purchase, customs clearance, transportation, or vet services. Our fee is in addition to the actual service cost. If you do not require additional services, you will not be charged the Handling fee.

Pet Travel Packet Fee:

Before your pet's flight, we will mail out a customized Pet Travel Packet that has all the information you will need to get them easily checked in. Among the items included are: Live Animal crate stickers, Feeding Instruction stickers, crate tag, Airway Bill, and flight itinerary.

Domestic: $30.00
Domestic Rush: $35.00
International: No Charge

Crates:

The cost of your pet's crate is not included in our consultation fee. As part of our service, we will send out detailed crate preparation instructions that will include information on the size of crate needed, what type of crate that will satisfy airline requirements, and how to prepare both the crate and the pet for the trip.

Pet Relocation Arrangments and Shipping

Payment Methods

Credit Cards

American Express, Visa, MasterCard, check or money order. Service does not commence until Air Travel Consultation payment is received.

Refund Policy

If you cancel within 24 hours of engaging our regularly scheduled services, we will refund your Air Travel Consultant fee minus a $50 administration fee.

No refunds will be given after 24 hours of engaging our regularly scheduled services and no refunds will be given for rush services. Should there be any circumstances that preclude the planned shipment of your pet or should you have a change of plans or change of mind after 24 hours, we will extend our service agreement for a period of six months after we have determined that or we are notified by you that the planned relocation assistance cannot be or is not to be provided.

Happy Tails Travel Privacy Statement

Client information submitted to Happy Tails Travel, Inc. is used for no other purpose than to understand and fulfill the client's pet transportation needs. We do not sell, trade, or rent any client information.

Pet Travel, Shipping, and Relocation

Accordingly, client information submitted to Happy Tails Travel, Inc. is passed to third parties only as necessary to obtain flights or other related pet services (such as boarding), for TSA related security protocol, and only after the services of Happy Tails Travel, Inc. have been engaged and agreed upon. Otherwise, all client information submitted to Happy Tails Travel, Inc. is kept confidential.
