I recently relocated across the country and had a lot of trouble figuring out how to get my pet hedgehog, Karl, to make the move with me. Most airlines (actually, every single one that I called) wouldn't let me carry her on or even check her. Thankfully, Happy Tails took care of every aspect of the move, from the travel requirements to a detailed itinerary that worked with my schedule. They kept me informed of every step along the way, and she was delivered to me last week. I was worried that Karl wouldn't do well with flying, especially in the summer, but HT put her on an evening flight and she arrived safe and sound. I attached a photo of her for you to enjoy. In August 2008, Happy Tails transported my two cats, Roxy and Velma, from Los Angeles, California to Portland, Maine. The pets had to leave a couple of days before me, so I had to find a place to board them for a few days, and it was all very stressful and I definitely needed some help. The service is worth every penny, they took extra loving care of my cats, and they arrived safely. Happy Tails arranged to have my cats picked up, and since they had separate flights that arrived after nomal business hours, arranged for someone to pick them up separately and get them settled at the vet office/boarding location. They took care of every single thing, so there were no worries or surprises.

Every detail and request was attended to, and I was kept updated on their flight progress and their arrival. We bought our house in February, and as you can see, the cats are very comfortable and happy in their new home. THANK YOU BRIDGET, SO MUCH, for everything.

They have finished exploring, and are now romping about, chasing each other in the early morning hours. I'm not sure if they can tell the difference between unpacking and packing, so they still need extra attention now and then. They have found new hiding places for whenever a workman or visitor comes calling. This house has miniblinds, and I had envisioned Ashley and Peaches playing with them and accidently pulling them down, but they haven't gotten into any trouble yet.

With all the regulations required to bring a pet to Hawaii, we could never have accomplished this so successfully on our own.

Jackie adjusted immediately to her Kauai home. She has only been here one week but has already made many friends (4 legged and 2 legged) and loves going on long walks. We have yet to introduce her to the beach, but will do that soon.

I would recommend you without the slightest hesitation to anyone relocating a pet.  Entrusting you with our precious girl's move was the best decision we ever made. The peace of mind you gave us meant the world to us.

Tarzan was an angel during his travel...
and did fabulous! We got to Amsterdam without a hitch, and then they flew through my paperwork - I don't think the guy even knew what was required. He flipped through the documents - he didn't even ask for the Home Again document - and waved me on through. Tarzan's been pretty clingy the first few days, and he can't quite find the right spot to go potty (he's used to grass and there are very few patches of that here!) but he's starting to return to his own self. Although I did not make it clear that I myself wouldn't be transporting my pets to the airport, you took care of that matter immediately and had someone do it the very next day. Bobby, Sparky, Fluffy, Tux and Taffy all looked fine and happy when I went to visit them after their flight from NC to TX. The kennel you recommended (where they remained boarded until my home was ready) treated them well and they always looked good whenever I visited them there.

I found Happy Tails through an Internet search. What luck!!! We were facing a big move to a foreign country (Germany), and wanted our dog Sasha to go too. She was a stray that we found in California, or I should say she found us. She turned out to be the best dog we have ever had. Giving her up was not an option. She was going whether she liked it or not. I called Happy Tails and spoke to a Pet Travel Specialist. Her knowledge is great. She always kept me informed of what was going on. She had a lot of work to do and she accomplished it well beyond my expectations. Sash had to stay back in Arizona at first, because it was too hot to fly her. When the tragedy happened on September 11th, I was afraid that I would never see Sash again. My Pet Travel Specialist reassured me that she would get her here to Germany. On October 22nd, Sash arrived. Her arrangements were the best. She got here the same happy go lucky dog that I last saw her. That is why I can't say enough good things about Happy Tails. They helped to make our big move easier by taking such good care of our dog.

I would recommend to anyone, if you want the best for your pet when it travels, Happy Tails is the company to use. Their hard work and understanding of how much people love their pets goes far beyond words.

My husband and I feel fortunate that we "found" Bridget Monrad and Happy Tails Travel to escort our new puppies on their journey to Hawaii.

Traveling to Hawaii is very complicated and we had a great deal of anxiety about how to accomplish this task. We put our trust in Bridget and were rewarded with puppies safely delivered. Neither puppy was stressed or traumatized even though they had to travel for two days from the breeders home in California. All along the route we were contacted by either Bridget or her excellent staff. We were thrilled with Jackie Kupau of Little Friends Pet Care of Honolulu for arranging the Hawaii portion of their journey and for greeting them with Aloha in Honolulu on the last part of their journey to their new home on the Big Island. A Big deal for them and a Big deal for us. Bridget and her staff are totally professional, knowledgeable and also very kind. We think Bridget, her staff and Happy Tails Travel are the only way to fly!

Sophie is here! The flight was long (22 hours door to door), lots of hanging around getting Sophie booked in but thankfully there were no problems with customs or pet immigration in England.

Sophie is doing great. She got very excited when we pulled into our street in Birmingham, she knew she was home because this is where she grew up as a little puppy. She has her garden to run around in again and I have made a special point of taking her on long walks to all the places I used to take her. All in all she doesn't seem phased at all and we are very happy as is she.

My dog Venice and I survived a horrible fatal accident which unfortunately killed my father. Our Dog Has Arrived!!

Thank you for all your help getting Gemma to us. Here are some great pictures of Bassa, whom we now call "Gemma" (she is such a little jewel!). A week after her arrival, she is now very comfortable with all of us and really having a great time taking long walks and picking my son up from school, and even going to work with me sometimes.

We were very worried, as we had adopted her out-of-state and had never flown one of our pets before. It was very important to us that she arrive safe and not stressed, as she had never even met us! There was also concern about airline policies and temperature, as it had been very cold in the Northeast where she was going. But everything ran smoothly as could be. Her flight was even 10 minutes early. When we got her home, after a long day of travel, she slept through the night, just like a perfect baby. I felt so much better about the whole thing for having hired Happy Tails, and I'm sure Gemma did too. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We just wanted to send a quick message to let you know that Pooka and Tinkerbell have made it home safe and sound! Jason finally made it back and our kitty babies are here in Germany and really no worse for the wear. As soon as they were let out of their crates, they began to explore their new home.

Tinkerbell darted up the steps and is enjoying being able to "see from high above" and Pooka wasted no time in trying to jump on the window ledge in the laundry room. He unfortunately missed, and slipped behind the dryer, which is why his pictures are covered in laundry fuzz! Tinkerbell headed right for the food and Pooka for the water, so hopefully they'll settle in quickly and smoothly.

We want to take this chance to express our sincere gratitude for all you have done in bring our kitties to us; you were there for us the whole way. Thank you so much! I am still amazed that this all came together as smoothly as it did.  From the time I made the decision to adopt this pup sight unseen on Thursday until he was at my door on Saturday evening, Bridget was with me every step of the way.

I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of mine and Nero's hearts. Your travel arrangements were absolutely perfect. For the several weeks prior to our departure from Los Angeles, almost up to the date of departure on July 4th, your kind words and reassuring demeanor made our trip so much easier. Nero had never traveled by air before and this made me extremely nervous... I can only imagine what he was feeling as he was led away "behind bars". Upon our arrival in Boston, I drove to the cargo area and there he was, sitting in his crate and smiling (yes, dogs DO smile). I was never so glad to see my dog, and by the lick-fest that followed, he felt the same.

Aloha, Happy Tails... After deciding to move to the Big Island, I was faced with the daunting task of getting my four kitties over there.

I had gotten all the paperwork ready, the waiting period was over... however the logistics of the airlines, the stress of plane transfers, etc was becoming miloverwhelming to the point of "how on earth can I do this myself?"

Bridget made the move absolutely seamless, stress-free and reassured me each step of the way. From coordinating the kenneling, to scheduling the best flights for them, to weather checks, to scheduling with associates in Honolulu to get them through quarantine and on the flight to Kona. To be able to set up our house for them before their arrival made ALL the difference our cat's and our comfort.

They (and we!) are loving Island life. If we do ever decide to head back to the Mainland, Bridget will be the first person I'll call!

I want to thank you again for making arrangements to get Samantha to Kauai safely and for alleviating our fears about her travel. It was wonderful to have someone experienced take care of the details and provide all of the necessary information in a comprehensive package. We have talked to many folks who made their own arrangements and, in some cases, the trips did not go nearly as smoothly as Samantha's. Samantha, Larry and I have adjusted well to our new home. Samantha has become quite the "aloha girl". She loves being at the beach and running on the golf course behind our house. She's adjusted to the heat and seems to like her new house. I don't know if you've been to Kauai but we have wild chickens pretty much everywhere. Samantha loves to watch the chickens but has been a good girl and kept her distance from them. Every night after dark she watches the geckos on the screens - it's like her big screen TV.Thank you again, for your help!!!

You picked everything perfectly from the right sized dog cage, a transporter from the dog kennel to the airport, a health certificate, finding the best cargo for pets to even arranging the ideal time of arrival to Los Angeles Airport so that I was able to pick him up right after work. I want to thank you and your company again for taking the time to help me with the move of my father's dog, Lexi. While I was back in Delaware helping my father after his colon cancer operation. I had to take over his care. But with that I had to move him along with Lexi to my home in CA. I had tried to get Lexi on the plane but she was way to big to carry her on the plane. I was in a panic as to how I could then get Lexi out with us all in CA. I was talking to the moving company that I had hired to do the furniture more. And my rep suggested HappyTailsTravel.com. Compared to the whole house move from the East coast to the West coast. But we have finally gotten the furniture delivered on July 3rd. This picture was taken after our dinner on the 4th. Now all we have to do is finish unpacking boxes. Help, the worse chore of moving is cleaning up after and arranging the house. Dear Bridget,
So how does one import a Polish Breed Doberman Pup from Warsaw???

I had absolutely no experience in this endeavor, and neither had my friend Gunter.  We were to believe that my new pup would fly directly to Rochester, NY. That was not the case!!!  The breeder gave us a list of those agencies that would facilitate transport.  I looked over the web addresses, and only one firm would return my call -- Happy Tails Travel.  Bridget and I spoke on many occasions.

I left it all to Happy Tails Travel, and the outcome couldn't have been better! Happy Tails cleared the hurdles and made sure Little Olaf Dumas Cutter hit the USA shores on a great run.  Happy Tails reported to me every step of the way, answering all the questions, and dealing with all the surprise situations.  Olaf arrived on schedule and in good spirits. It worked out well for all of us.

And this was an Experience!!!  With a wonderful Happy Ending, very much thanks to Happy Tails Travel! I highly recommend if you have a pup to move, call Happy Tails Travel, it was worth the dime. You can see all of the pics of Olaf Dumas Cutter.

If it were not for this GREAT organization, our cat would have not made it. Due to the hottest time of the year, no one would fly him from Buffalo to Arizona.
