Happy Tails Travel provided an experience positively above and beyond my expectations! I had never heard of a pet transport service before, and coming from a small town in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania, I was unsure if I could even utilize the company because of my location. Not many companies come that way... for anything. But Happy Tails even came to our home in rural PA!

Our driver Marko was AMAZING; super nice and efficient! I greatly appreciated the many photos and videos and updates and was thankful that he answered my texts asking how things were going. He is wonderful with animals, and I highly recommend him, such a great guy!Kim our transport coordinator was amazing! I appreciated her prompt responses and super-efficient communication! I consider myself a good planner and organizer, but I honestly can't see myself doing better than her! Goodness, I had so much on my plate organizing my family's move with two young children and her competence and efficiency made my life soooooo much easier! I knew I could trust she had it all under control and I didn't have to think as much.

I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Happy Tails Travel to anyone and everyone who needs a pet transported to a new location. Such a great vibe; such positive, capable, and competent people! Honestly, in the future (after kids are grown) I would love to work with you! You guys are great! I cannot say enough!

We had an excellent experience with Happy Tails Travel! I submitted online for a quote and received one very quickly. I didn’t have a lot of notice for travel dates, and not a lot of flexibility, and they were still able to accommodate me. We were paired with a driver, and she was friendly and communicative, and showed up exactly on time. I received pictures and texts throughout the trip and truly felt my dogs were in good hands. I absolutely felt like the service I received was worth what I paid. We will definitely use Happy Tails again!

The boys are settling in well! Varian of course acts like he's been here his whole life. Anduin occasionally decides he's had enough of a new place and sleeps under the covers, but for the most part he's his normal self. He's not skittish or spooked at all. All in all I would call the journey a success!

Thank you so much for all you and Monte did to get the boys safely from San Diego to Seattle. Just like their previous two cross-country trips, the whole process was smooth and professional -- and it makes such a difference knowing that the boys are with someone who really cares for them. If I relocate again, Happy Tails will be one of my first calls!

I could not be happier with my experience with Happy Tails Travel! I was nervous about moving my Golden Retriever but Kim and McKenna made the trip so much easier. Kim was very responsive and attentive, making sure to answer all my questions and give me an exact play-by-play of what to expect. It made the stress a lot easier to manage. McKenna drove my Benjamin from CA to NV, originally meant to be around an 8 hour drive but ran into some weather trouble due to snow and closed roads. She kept me updated every step of the way with pictures and was ready to stay the night somewhere with Benjamin to be safe. She was able to bring him home to me the same day which turned into a 12 hour trip! She was an absolute rockstar and I could not be more grateful. Absolutely recommend for anyone looking to move their pets.

We contacted Happy Tails Travel to help us move our cat, Roxie, from Virginia to Texas. Our Roxie is a high maintenance girl - we can’t even take her to the vet because she transforms into something unrecognizable that we refer to as “devil kitty.”

We didn’t want to fly her because of this, and even though it would take longer, we felt that door-to-door ground transport was the safest option.

Thanks so much to Happy Tails!!! Our driver, Mia, is “the cat whisperer” and knew just how to handle our fussy fur baby. Roxie traveled very well with Mia, and arrived in Texas perfectly fine and unaffected from it all. She’s a happy girl in her new home!

Mia provided us constant updates, and really cared about Roxie’s welfare…and ours!! She provided us great advice for trying to travel across the country with a hurricane on the way. Mia also gave us tips for how to acclimate Roxie in her new home.

I was a complete wreck over moving my 2 “country” dogs from their big property in Napa, CA to an apartment in New York City. How they would get there was my biggest worry. My hound mix, Eloise is very leash-reactive with a lot of anxiety and her mini goldendoodle brother, Kevin, has terrible separation anxiety. After speaking with our vet, we decided Eloise couldn’t handle the chaos and noise of air travel, so I started looking for ground transportation. Every company I checked had multiple animals in crates all traveling together... until I found Happy Tails Travel. My dogs could drive across the country with a kind and professional driver who loves dogs! 

I couldn’t have been happier with Lizzie’s understanding and compassion in finding a driver familiar with anxiety, not to mention her kindness to this dog mama’s anxiety! Our driver, Robert was amazing. He sent videos and pictures and texts multiple times a day. He answered my questions about their medication and if they were eating and I knew they were in good hands the entire drive. They arrived in New York happy and healthy and are now settling into their new city life. 

From the very beginning, Lizzie was professional, with clear communication and instructions on everything. She did an excellent job and made the entire process seamless and as stress-free as possible. I truly cannot thank Happy Tails enough and would happily recommend their service to everyone I know!

Safe and sound!  Harrison had a great road trip across the country and we’re now enjoying summer in the great Pacific Northwest together.  He hit it off right away with Happy Tails Travel driver David (and Wendy), who provided excellent communication starting even before pick-up, and sent updates at regular intervals along the way.  We’re so happy to have found your company, and beyond satisfied with the service provided from the get-go, starting with our initial email conversations with Lizzie, who provided all the details to help us comfortable with the staff, support, and understanding the logistics.  David gave us confidence that our senior dog was in good hands with attentive care and safe driving. A special shout out to Happy Tails for safely transporting my 4 fur babies from KC to Phoenix! I thought the most stressful part of my move would be my pets. Not at all! Shelbie was absolutely amazing and I felt relief the minute I talked to John and Keely who transported and cared for my pets for a week. They were so fun and positive and sent me daily texts, photos and videos of my cats. I knew I made the right decision going with Happy Tails! They were extremely flexible and chill making this the easiest part of my move by far!

My family wanted to move from California to Tennessee but we had some issues finding flights for our dogs because of the breed of one and the anxiety of the other, so I started looking into pet transport. At first I didn't even know if I would find anything, especially legit. After looking into three companies, Happy Tails Travel stood out.  I was right away greeted by Elizabeth and was given so much information to help me figure out if this would be a good option for my two dogs.

After going back and forth in email for a couple months getting ready to move, we finally decided Happy Tails was the company we wanted to use. I told them about how my dog Riley is very anxious and slow to warm up to new people and how Io, the bigger one, was dog reactive and needs her space; they said no problem!

They have drivers who cater to every need, have group texts so we can see where they are and the driver sends pictures and videos all the time.

I'll tell you, I never thought my dogs would look so happy with somebody they hardly knew! We got matched with driver Robert from California and he was so nice! He made the dogs a nice spot in his SUV and he came in to meet them before they left on their road trip. Robert was very kind and kept both dogs under control while letting them have a fabulous time seeing different states along the way.

It took them literally only 3 days to get from California to our new house in Tennessee. When the dogs finally got to our new house they were happy, health and they were so excited to see us!

I can't speak to other companies, but I know if you aren't sure about this one you don't need to worry; they are fantastic!!! I would use them again in a heartbeat. In fact, I've let my realtor know about them so if any of her other customers need animal transport she will know exactly who to call!
